Russell Kelly-Gordon is a former photographer turned graphic designer and lettering artist based in Oakland, California.

Russell draws on influences from Bay Area street culture and past-era aesthetics to deliver visual design that feels personal and authentic to his experience growing up in Oakland in the nineties. His work interrogates his relationship with nostalgia and freedom of self-expression. A believer in a ‘less is more’ philosophy with a penchant for traditional media, Russell believes all good design evokes emotion, whether the audience is aware of it or not.
